Sunday Surprise
We got a phone call today around lunch time from a dear friend. She wanted to bring the kids by to see us. We haven't seen them in 5 years.
Pamelia, Lindsay, and Logan stopped by on their way back to Effingham County, GA. They moved there about 5 years ago due to Rusty's job. Lindsay and Logan were both in my kindergarten class when I taught at Red Bank. Pamelia was a dream mom. She was always there when I needed her and went the extra mile to help out with our class. She even watched Rebecca for 1 school year. What a great role model for Rebecca!!
The kids are all grown now. Logan is in the eigth grade and Lindsay the seventh. They are beautiful children. We missed seeing Landon and Rusty. Maybe on their next trip.
I can't believe I didn't take any pictures. However, it was great to see old friends.

Bubbles
Rebecca received a huge bubble wand in her egg hunt goody bag. She decided to give it a try yesterday. You're never too old to have fun with bubbles.

Easter
We spent Easter in Westminster, SC with Eric's mother. It has been a tradition since Rebecca was just 6 months old. Rebecca looks forward to dyeing eggs with Granna. This year was no exception. Granna usually calls and asks Rebecca how many eggs she wants. This year it was 3 dozen. Rebecca enjoyed making the pretty colors and lining them up just so. She also enjoyed the 3 egg hunts she did. One was Eric's cousins house. We hadn't seen Mike since before we got married. He now has a little boy and wanted to get the family together. We enjoyed being around all of Eric's cousins. Granna called one of the neighbors and asked if her grandkids could come down to the house for an egg hunt. There were three of them that hunted for Rebecca's pretty eggs. They had a good time and only one of them got stepped on and smashed. Rebecca asked her daddy to hide them one more time just for her. So she did an egg hunt all by herself. I think she enjoyed that one the most. It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed being outside.
