Happy New Year 2010

As usual, we had a quite New Year's Eve. We are not big party people, so we usually just stay home. We have been know to have a house project that "had" to get done on New year's Eve. This year, we took down our Christmas decorations. It went pretty fast with all of us working together.

After putting it all in the attic, Eric grilled steaks for us. Each year his company gives the employees a $10 gift card to Bi-Lo. We used it to splurge on steaks. They were yummy!! Eric was able to use the new temperature fork he got for Christmas.

Rebecca had a friend over and they went outside to light the small fireworks we were allowed to shoot in the neighborhood. I think Eric had the most fun lighting firecrackers inside the house and throwing them outside to scare the girls.

2010 came in quietly. Eric woke up just as the ball dropped. The girls were outside and I did a small YIPEE.
